Southern Strain Taproom is an extension of this brewery’s main brewing location in Concord, NC. Our team was hired to do the historic rehab and upfit of their brewery and now have  completed this second location for the company. Southern Strain Taproom celebrated their grand opening of this Charlotte location in April 2022.

Located in Plaza Midwood in Charlotte, this new 2255 sq ft taproom consists of a 20 ft stainless steel bar tap featuring 30 beer taps and a 20 ft beer cooler. Other features of this project include a 30 ft bar constructed from reclaimed wood veneer and trim, along with a stainless steel foot rest, bag hooks, and under counter lighting. A full lite garage door gives guests easy access to outdoor seating on warm days and a beautifully painted mural wall ties together the entire space.
